
Feel at home during your camping holiday in FranceAt all of our campsite locations we are proud to employ our own resident couriers that are sure to make you feel at home. All staff will have completed a thorough residential training course in France, which covers all aspects of working on a campsite from basic customer service and paperwork, to maintenance and changing gas. They will welcome you upon arrival, show you to your accommodation* (up to 11pm), and are on hand throughout your stay to provide any information and support you may need whilst on holiday. Occasionally they will organise functions - such as Cheese & Wine tasting, Quiz night, or BBQs and you are most cordially invited to attend these events and socialise with other guests. Koala campsite entertainmentOur dedicated Koala Club staff operates a FREE Children's club 5 x per week for kids aged 5-11 years at all campsites on the Atlantic coast. Staff will be present at every session and they will occupy the kids with fun activities whilst parents can grab a few hours of deserved peace and quiet! Our Koala Club couriers are carefully selected for their individual talents and desire to work with children. Supervised campsitesTo support our campsite staff, we employ regional supervisors who make regular visits to all of the campsites. The supervisors have lots of varied experience in the camping industry. Additionally, the Operations Managers and Directors make frequent visits to all of our locations in France. All of our staff is English speaking and range in age from 18 - 80 years. The younger staff often undertake the position as part of a work placement relating to a child-care or tourism qualification, whilst our more mature couriers are taking the job as a lifestyle choice. All mobile homes owned by Welcome FranceWelcome France owns the fleet of mobile homes and guarantees the quality and that they mobile homes are never older than 5 years. Camping Holiday InformationBooking Procedure
Booking your holiday with Welcome France Holidays could not be simpler. One simple call to our reservations team will ensure that all of your requirements are met. We will take care of every detail, from the accommodation to the ferry crossing you require.
To book, all you need is an idea of where you wish to holiday; your preferred ferry route and the passenger and vehicle details.
All bookings are subject to our Terms & Conditions.
If you are not sure, our experienced staff will be able to guide you to a holiday that will suit your party. The booking procedure takes around 10 minutes to complete including ferry reservations. A deposit of £150 plus any insurance premiums will be due at the time of reservation. The balance of the holiday cost is due 10 weeks prior to departure.
Linen ServiceAll our mobile homes are equipped with pillows and duvets for all the occupants. For a small extra charge we are able to offer a beds made on arrival service which will include sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers. The cost of this service is £10 per single bed and £14 per double bed.
BBQ'sWith all Welcome France accommodation, you have the option of hiring a large gas barbecue (with the exception of Lou Pignada). The gas is included in the price of £14 for up to 7 days and £20 for up to 14 days. You should be aware that we do not supply barbecue tools.
Accidental Damage WaiverTo ensure a trouble free time we have introduced an accidental damage waiver insurance, for a small fee of £15 per booking we will absorb the cost of accidental breakages up to the first £300. By subscribing to this you will avoid the need to pay a £100 deposit on arrival at your campsite. Please note you will still be required to pay a £30 cleaning deposit on arrival.
Welcome PackWe consider it a nice touch to welcome you with a complimentary pack containing a bottle of wine, bread, a small supply of coffee, tea, sugar, milk (or whitener) and a beach ball.
InfantsFor our customers with little ones in their family we are able to provide baby packs comprising of highchair, cot and baby bath 'free of charge'. These must be reserved at the time of booking and are subject to availability. Our office can advise on availability at the time of booking.
Arrivals & DeparturesOfficial check in time is after 4pm. If you arrive on site between 4 - 6pm our courier reception areas will be staffed. Subject to arrangement with the on site courier, if you arrive early and your accommodation is ready, you are welcome to occupy it immediately. Between 6 - 11pm our couriers whereabouts will be clearly stated at reception and they will assist you to your accommodation. If you arrive after 11pm our courier reception will be unmanned, however details of where to find your accommodation will be left in an envelope marked with your name with the keys inside.
Upon arrival you will need to provide the courier with your accommodation voucher, they will then complete the arrivals deposit form. You will need to provide a £30 deposit for cleaning. If you have not booked the accidental damage waiver (see left) you will also need to provide a damage deposit of £100. We ask that deposits are paid by completion of a debit/credit card authority or by cheque supported by a valid bankers card. Cash deposits are not acceptable. With the paperwork formalities out of the way, our courier will show you into the accommodation demonstrating any equipment you may be unfamiliar with. It is important that should you be unhappy with any aspect of your accommodation, you should bring it to our attention immediately so as to afford us the opportunity to rectify matters.
On departure day, you are politely requested to vacate your accommodation by 10am. Later departures may be available by liasing with your courier. At the end of your stay your deposit cheque/ authority will be destroyed upon inspection of the accommodation.
