Worthy of mention is Le Puy du Fou a medieval spectacular and theme parc. The year is 1429 and Le Puy du Fou Castle is the theatre for a recreation of a ferocious battle. Gigantic war machines and spectacular stunts punctuate the bloodthirsty performance.
Separated into different areas you also witness an extraordinary display of falconry featuring over 250 birds, a Viking Dragon ship emerging from the water in flames, racing Roman Chariots and Gladiatorial battles inside a 115 metre long stadium. Of an evening La Cinescenie featuring a night time extravaganza with a cast of over 1000 actors on the world's largest stage.
